About Us
We are a family owned and operated business located in Superior, Wisconsin. Founded in 1986, we began by refurbishing appliances. Since then, our business has branched out into appliance and electronics recycling and becoming a major appliance parts distributor. Timer King Appliance Parts is a branch of our brick and mortar store, Balcum Appliance, Inc.
We carry a wide selection of appliance parts. We have many used and rebuilt parts, new take off parts from new, never used appliances, and a growing selection of factory new parts.
Our mission is to finance African pastors so the work of furthering the gospel of Jesus Christ can be completed across that continent. We are currently invested mostly in Kenya, where we support over 30 pastors and 40 churches. Several of these churches double as orphanages.
Now that you know a little about us, you know that we are not one of the “big box” stores. We take pride in the fact that we are a family business. We offer our customers a level of care and service that is not found in many businesses today. When you call us, you get a real person on the other end, not a computer. When you email us, you get an answer within 24 hours (usually a LOT less) rather than having to wait days. We help you find the right part the first time! We appreciate our customers.
